Calderdale College Launch Procurement Exercise to Expand Supply Chain of Training Providers

£2m Training Fund in Cheshire and Warrington

Calderdale College have launched a procurement exercise to expand their supply chain of training providers to support the delivery of the Skills Support for the Workforce programme in Cheshire and Warrington.

Funded by the European Union’s European Social Fund, the Skills Support for the Workforce programme is designed to help businesses thrive in Cheshire and Warrington. Providing fully funded training and skills development support, the programme will equip workforces with the skills they need to help their employers’ grow.

Training Providers working in partnership with Calderdale College will deliver fully funded employer-led skills training and development. Businesses eligible to receive the support include SMEs, Micro businesses and the Self Employed.

Calderdale College are seeking Training Providers which meet the following criteria:

  • Available and able to start immediately.
  • Can demonstrate a track record of working in Cheshire & Warrington.
  • Can demonstrate successful delivery of similar programmes.
  • Have a pipeline of employers requiring this provision.
  • Have experience of undertaking Training Needs Analysis for Employers.
  • Can offer a mix of regulated and non-regulated learning at Level 3 or above.
  • Deliver qualifications and non-regulated activity which are eligible for funding on the IMHUB.
  • Can offer progression pathways to higher education, apprenticeships and higher level apprenticeships (this programme requires 88% of learners to progress into one of the progression routes).
