Citizen Maths is an open online course focusing on improving levels of maths across the country. This pioneering project offers a unique opportunity for Colleges and training providers to enhance existing maths provision, improving pass rates and retention. It is an excellent opportunity to be utilised in basic skills provision to engage learners.
The programme provides free wrap around support for learners undertaking courses requiring basis maths skills, resulting in improved pass rates and supports the delivery of apprenticeship contracts through provision of complementary training at no cost. Involvement in the programme also shows support for Government initiatives to improve basic levels of maths throughout the country.
