LEP SKILLS SUPPORT FOR THE WORKFORCE IN GREATER MANCHESTER
The Local Enterprise Partnership’s (LEP) Skills Support for the Workforce in Greater Manchester programme complements the LEP’s broader initiatives to support growth in small and medium-sized businesses throughout Greater Manchester and also implement the Work and Skills Strategy.
The Skills Support for the Workforce programme utilises European funding to deliver this service and fund eligible learning interventions.
Our advisors will work with you and support your business growth plans through helping you to identify and source your business-driven learning and development needs.

Support will focus on businesses that are in Greater Manchester’s priority sectors:
Provision will target three areas of activity that will enable upskilling to meet changing business needs and fill skills gaps and shortages:
Basic skills development for those to help employees that are low paid and low skilled.
Intermediate, technical and higher skills development.
Skills and employability support for employees that are at risk of redundancy.
