Partnership Opportunities in the Black Country

As the Lead Provider for the Skills For Growth – Employees Support in Skills programme in the Black Country, Calderdale College is seeking to expand its supply chain of Training Providers. Funded by the European Social Fund and co-financed by the Skills Funding Agency, the Skills for Growth Programme seeks to help employers grow their business by providing fully funded training for business owners, leaders and their staff. Training delivered through the project seeks to provide businesses with the skills essential to achieve their business growth plans.

We are keen to work with Training Providers which can meet the criteria listed below:

  • Can start immediately
  • Can demonstrate a track record of working in the Black County.
  • Can demonstrate successful delivery of similar programmes.
  • Will have a pipeline of employers requiring this provision.
  • Have experience of undertaking Training Needs Analysis for Employers.
  • Can offer a mix of regulated and non-regulated learning at L2, L3 or above.
  • Deliver qualifications and non-regulated activity which are eligible for funding on the IMHUB.
  • Can offer progression pathways within work, and/or to higher education, apprenticeships and higher level apprenticeships (this programme requires 88% of learners to progress into one of the progression routes).

This is a rolling opportunity with no closing date to apply, but Training Providers are encouraged to apply early.
